The
Social Justice Ministries assists the Parish Pastoral Council
in fostering concern for justice in the world, especially in
areas of parish life. They meet every other month to coordinate
local
and global justice and peace activities.
Colonial
Manor Ministry
Gather residents on Tuesdays for Mass or Communion service.
Jail Ministry
Ecumenical outreach to those in jail.
Jubilee House
Prepare and serve a Thursday evening meal and hospitality
(4 times per year).
Justice
and Peace Committee
Educates parishioners about social justice issues and provides
opportunities to serve those in need (meets 6 times per year).
Pro-Life Activities
Organize and promote pro-life activities in the parish,
roses for life, signature ad campaign, etc.
Salvation Army
Participate in bell ringing on a Saturday in December
or work a shift at the shelter booth inside the mall.
Salavation Army Lunch Ministry
Serve noon meal on the first Saturday of every other
month, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
The Neighbor's Place
Volunteer at reception desk or food pantry approximately 2 hours
per month
Walk for Hunger
Help coordinate annual walk in October to raise funds
for hunger needs.
