Sacraments are outward signs of inward grace, instituted by Christ for our sanctification. The seven sacraments touch all stages and all the important moments of Christian life: they give birth, nurishment, and responsiblity as well as provide healing and guidance. As you can see, there is a certain resemblance between the stages of natural life and the stages of the spiritual life.

In the celebration of the sacraments we draw closer to the Lord who calls each of us by name and gives us a share in his spirit.
