Welcome to St. Michael Parish Website. I hope our website will help you get to know us as a Faith Community. With our 114 year history we are proud to say we work hard at being a very welcoming, warm and caring community.

We are committed to Jesus Christ and the Church he founded, it's teachings and traditions. There are four key focuses to our Parish Ministry and we invite your participation in any one of them. These focuses are Worship, Catholic Education, Family Life, and Justice and Peace.

Worship at the Eucharist is at the very heart of what we are and do. We invite your full participation in our worship and we are especially proud of our fine music ministry.

Catholic Education is also very important to us. We believe Catholic Schools are the preferred way to educate our children but we also have an excellent Faith Formation program for our young people who attend Public Schools. We are part of the Newman Catholic School System Pre-K through 12. We also believe that our Christian Formation does not end with our formal school education but is a life long process so we have and are developing a number of Adult Christian Formation programs.

We also believe that the family is the center of our parish life, after all it is referred to us the "Domestic Church". We do everything we can to support the family life through the year. This support is shown through a number of parish activities for families as well as encouraging families to pray and share their faith with one another in their homes.

Lastly, we believe the ministry of peace and justice has a top priority in our parish life. Unless we are reaching out to others especially those who are needy we cannot call ourselves disciples of Jesus. It was He who said "What you do to the least of my brothers and sisters, you do for me".
