The
Family Life Ministry assists the Parish Pastoral Council in
fostering
Christian family life in the parish. Among its chief concerns are:
the central place of the family in all parish activities; youth
ministry; vocations; pre-marriage preparation; marriage enrichment;
natural family planning; divorced and remarried Catholics, and
widows
and widowers.
Elizabeth
Ministries
Gives support to other women during childbearing years through
brief visits, phone calls and cards.
Family Life Committee
Develop and encourage programs and events for families at all
stages of life (meets 6 times per year).
Marriage Preparation Couple
Confer and share with those preparing for marriage.
Parish Nurse Team
Meet the healing needs of the parish as educator, facilitator,
visitor/listener, advocate, and pray for individual/families.
PCCW Member
Women's group that supports the parish thorugh various activities
and the development of spirtual life.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Provide a prayer shawl to someone who is ill, and/or provide a
prayer 'square' to families who have a newborn.
Visit the Homebound
Make friendly visits and phone calls to someone in need of companionship,
mail bulletins.
Vocation Committee
Plan special activities to promote vocations to the priesthood
and religious life.
Welcome Newcomers
Send notes of welcome to new parishioners.
